ट्रेन संख्या 06474, नीलांबुर रोड-शोरानूर एक्सप्रेस स्पेशल ट्रेन ट्रैक पर मवेशी से टकराने के बाद पलक्कड़ के वल्लापुझा में पटरी से उतर गई. हादसे में किसी के हताहत होने या घायल होने की सूचना नहीं है. घटना के बाद तीन ट्रेनें रद्द कर दी गईं और एक ट्रेन को पुनर्निर्धारित किया गया है. पलक्कड़ रेलवे डिवीजन के पीआरओ ने कहा, 'यातायात बहाल करने के लिए काम चल रहा है. ट्रैक पर काम चल रहा है."
