बीजेपी के वरिष्ठ नेता लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी को भारत के सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार भारत रत्न से पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा. शनिवार को खुद प्रधानमंत्री ने जानकारी दी. बीजेपी के वरिष्ठ नेता को भारत रत्न से सम्मानित किए जाने पर परिवार में उनका बेटा जयंत अडवाणी और बेटी प्रतिभा अडवाणी ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का धन्यवाद किया है.

लालकृष्ण आडवाणी के बेटे जयंत आडवाणी ने मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि यह परिवार और देश-सभी के लिए बहुत खुशी की बात है..आज मंदिर हमारे सामने है और यह उनके जीवनकाल में ही संभव हो सका. इसलिए, हम बहुत खुश हैं.
