बड़े शहरों में समलैंगिक जोड़े अक्सर साथ में नजर आ जाते है.पर उत्तर प्रदेश के एक जिले में समलैंगिक जोड़े ने शादी कर ली है. यूपी के देवरिया में दो युवतियों ने समलैंगिक शादी के बंधन में बंध गई है. आर्केस्ट्रा में दोनों युवतियां साथ में काम करती हैं. मझौली राज में स्थित भगड़ा भवानी मंदिर में दोनों लड़कियों ने एक दूसरे के साथ शादी कर ली.
