असम के सीएम हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा (Himanta Biswa Sarma) ने शनिवार को दिल्ली में कार्बी आंगलोंग समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करने के बाद कहा कि इस समझौते के तहत 1 हजार आतंकवादी आत्मसमर्पण करेंगे और बहुत सारे हथियार जमा किए जाएंगे. इससे राज्य में शांति बहाल होगी. यह एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है. सरमा ने कहा कि हम 300 से अधिक अत्याधुनिक हथियारों के साथ आत्मसमर्पण करने वाले 1000 आतंकवादियों के पुनर्वास के लिए काम करेंगे.
