पाकिस्तान में लंबे समय से चल रही राजनीतिक उथल-पुथल के बीच आम चुनाव की तारीख का ऐलान हो गया है. पाकिस्तान में 11 फरवरी को आम चुनाव होंगे. देश के चुनाव निकाय ने गुरुवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट को सूचित किया, जिससे चुनावों पर महीनों से चली आ रही अनिश्चितता खत्म हो गई. पाकिस्तान चुनाव आयोग के वकील सजील स्वाति ने कहा कि निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के निर्धारण की प्रक्रिया 29 जनवरी तक पूरी हो जाएगी, जिससे चुनाव का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो जाएगा. चुनाव के बाद पाकिस्तान को फिर से स्थायी सरकार मिलेगी.
