मुंबई पुलिस ने कहा कि बार्ज पी-305 और टगबोट वरप्रदा जहाज के अरब सागर में डूबने के बाद अब तक 71 शव बरामद किए जा चुके हैं. भीषण चक्रवाती तूफान तौकते के कारण बीते सोमवार की देर रात बार्ज पी-305 डूब गया. तूफानी अरब सागर में हादसे के वक्त बार्ज पर कुल 261 लोग सवार थे. अरब सागर बार्ज या तेल रिग त्रासदी में मरने वालों की संख्या अभी और बढ़ने की पूरी उम्मीद जताई जा रही है.
अरब सागर में बॉम्बे हाई फील्ड के अपतटीय विकास क्षेत्र में बदकिस्मत बार्ज तूफान तौकते की चपेट में आकर बीते सोमवार देर रात डूब गया था.
