एक्शन में केंद्र सरकार, नफरत फैलाने वाले 747 वेबसाइट, 94 YouTube चैनल बैन
सरकार ने देश की संप्रभुता के खिलाफ काम करने वाली एजेंसियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की है. ये इंटरनेट पर फेक न्यूज और झूठे प्रचार में लिप्त थीं.
भारत सरकार ने देश के प्रति दुर्भावना रखने वाले 94 यूयट्यूब चैनल्स (YouTube Channels), 19 सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स (Social Media Accounts) और 747 वेबसाइट्स (Websites) को 2021-22 में बंद कराए हैं. केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने राज्यसभा में कहा कि इंफॉर्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी एक्ट, 2000 के सेक्शन 69ए के तहत यह कार्रवाई की गई.
एक सवाल के जवाब में ठाकुर ने बताया कि सरकार ने देश की संप्रभुता के खिलाफ काम करने वाली एजेंसियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की है. ये इंटरनेट पर फेक न्यूज और झूठे प्रचार में लिप्त थीं. इस साल जनवरी में पाकिस्तान से चलाए जा रहे यूट्यूब के 35 न्यूज चैनल्स को बंद कराया गया. दो वेबसाइटों को भी बंद कराया गया. ये सभी इंडिया के बारे में गलत जानकारियां फैला रही थीं.
The Minister further said that the Government has strongly acted against agencies working against the sovereignty of the country by spreading fake news and spreading propaganda on the internet.
