केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम पर उठाये सवाल कहा कि BMC के पास अभी भी सबसे अधिक टैक्स संग्रह और बजट है, लेकिन वे उचित स्वच्छता, शहर के सौंदर्यीकरण और खेलों को प्रोत्साहित करने केलिए सही रोड मैप बनाने में असफल है. उन्होंने ने बीजेपी द्वारा इन नीतियों को शुरू करने के लिए एक उचित रोड मैप तैयार किये जाने की बात कही है.
