उत्तरप्रदेश के मेरठ से रामायण सीरियल के अभिनेता अरुण गोविल को बीजेपी ने उम्मीदवार बनाया है. इस दौरान गोविल ने कहा की मेरठ में ट्रैफिक समस्या काफी है, उसपर काम किया जाएगा, इसके साथ ही एयरपोर्ट नहीं है और स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम का भी काम किया जाएगा.
