भारत सरकार ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (IMF) में भारत के कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ. कृष्णमूर्ति सुब्रमण्यम की सेवाएं तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त कर दी हैं.
Krishnamurthy Subramaniam IMF: भारत सरकार ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (IMF) में भारत के कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ. कृष्णमूर्ति सुब्रमण्यम की सेवाएं तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त कर दी हैं. शनिवार को आधिकारिक तौर पर इस फैसले की जानकारी दी गई. हालांकि, सेवा समाप्ति के पीछे के कारणों का खुलासा नहीं किया गया है. बता दें, आईएमएफ में सुब्रमण्यम का 3 साल का कार्यकाल पूरा होने में 6 महीने बचे हैं. यह फैसला पाकिस्तान को दी जाने वाली वित्तीय सुविधाओं को लेकर आईएमएफ बोर्ड की अहम समीक्षा बैठक से ठीक पहले आया है.
सरकार की ओर से जल्द ही नए कार्यकारी निदेशक की नियुक्ति की घोषणा की जा सकती है.
