निर्देशक अयान मुखर्जी की ब्रह्मास्त्र मुख्य अभिनेता रणबीर कपूर और आलिया भट्ट आशीर्वाद लेने के लिए उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर पहुचे हालांकि, बजरंग दल के सदस्यों के विरोध के कारण उनकी यात्रा बाधित हुई, जो काले झंडे के साथ परिसर में पहुंचे और इतना हंगामा किया कि पुलिस को बुलाना पड़ा, सुरक्षा बढ़ाए जाने के बाद केवल अयान मुखर्जी ही मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना करने पहुंचे.
