बेन नेविस (Ben Nevis) स्कॉटलैंड का सबसे ऊंचा पर्वत है जिसकी ऊंचाई 4,411 फीट है. यहां 49 साल के एक ब्रिटिश पर्वतारोही की ऊंचाई से गिरने के बाद मौत हो गई. वो एवलांच की चपेट में आने के बाद बर्फ में दब गया था. हालांकि, उसके साथी की जान बच गई. घायल को फोर्ट विलियम के बेलफ़ोर्ड अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जबकि मृतक के शव को उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है.
A climber has died and another was injured after an avalanche on the north face of Ben Nevis.
The Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team was dispatched on Friday to help the climbers, amid challenging weather conditions.
