Two Galaxies Colliding: नासा NASAके James Webb Space Telescope ने अंतरिक्ष में मिल रहीं दो गैलेक्सियों (Merging Galaxies) की तस्वीर ली है. गैलेक्सियों के इस जोड़े को " II ZW 96" को नाम से जाना जाता है. ये धरती से करीब 500 मिलियन प्रकाश वर्ष की दूरी पर, सेलेस्टियल इक्वेटर के नजदीक हैं. जेम्स वेब स्पेस टेलीस्कोप ने दो विलय वाली आकाशगंगाओं की शानदार तस्वीरें ली है.

नासा ने इस तस्वीर के दो संस्करण जारी किए हैं. एक को Hubble स्पेस टेलिस्कोप ने लिया है और दूसरा James Webb ने. दोनों गैलेक्सियां एक-दूसरे में समाने की प्रक्रिया में हैं. इसके कारण उनका आकार बदल रहा है
