IPL 2024 Auction: 19 दिसंबर को आईपीएल 2024 की नीलामी में पंजाब किंग्स ने नाटकिय तौर पर खरीदना पड़ेगा.  शशांक सिंह के नाम की घोषणा ऑक्शनर मल्लिका सागर ने की और पंजाब किंग्स ने अपना बिड बढ़ाते हुए खिलाड़ी को उसके आधार मूल्य - 20 लाख रुपये पर खरीदा. हालाँकि, कुछ मिनट बाद, उन्होंने बताया किया कि वे खिलाड़ी को साइन नहीं करना चाहते थे. लेकिन आखिरकार, खिलाड़ी पंजाब किंग्स के पास ही गया क्योंकि उसका नाम आने पर उन्होंने अपना हैमर मार दिया था.
