केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल में फेरबदल के बाद बाबुल सुप्रियो (Babul Supriyo) को मंत्री पद से हटा दिया गया था. जिसके बाद सुप्रियो यह कहते हुए बीजेपी से इस्तीफा दे दिया था कि वे राजनीति से संयास ले रहे हैं. लेकिन शनिवार को तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) में शामिल हो गए. बाबुल सुप्रियो को टीएमसी में शामिल होना पश्चिम बंगाल में उपचुनाव से पहले बड़ा राजनीतिक उलटफेर के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है.
