पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के बीच, राज्य में 8 चरणों में चुनाव कराने के निर्वाचन आयोग के फैसले का हम विरोध करते हैं. कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए मैं चुनाव आयोग से आग्रह करती हूं कि बचे हुए चरणों का चुनाव एक बार में करा दिया जाए. यह लोगों को वायरस के संपर्क में आने से बचाएगा.
