Gaurav Yatra: महाराष्ट्र में सावरकर पर सियासत जारी, देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कांग्रेस को दिया जवाब

मुंबई में 'वीर सावरकर गौरव यात्रा' में महाराष्ट्र के डिप्टी सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कांग्रेस पर जमकर निशाना साधते हुए कहा, 'आपने कहा कि वीर सावरकर ने माफी मांगी और अंग्रेजों को पत्र लिखा. नहीं वो गलत है. सावरकर ने एक पत्र इसलिए लिखा क्योंकि उन्हें पता था कि अंग्रेज़ उन्हें रिहा नहीं करेंगे. तो उन्होंने लिखा, मुझे (सावरकर) रिहा मत करो बल्कि अन्य कैदियों को रिहा करो जिन्होंने तुम्हारे (अंग्रेजों) खिलाफ कुछ नहीं किया.'

देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा, 'महात्मा गांधी ने सावरकर के रिश्तेदारों को पत्र लिखा, जो उनके (सावरकर) साथ कई वर्षों तक जेल में भी रहे, और कहा - अन्य कैदियों को रिहा कर दिया गया. फिर उन्होंने सावरकर से कहा कि वह अंग्रेजों से भी कहें कि आपने उन्हें रिहा किया, मुझे (सावरकर) भी रिहा करें.
