आईपीएल 2023 के लिए नीलामी को कोच्चि में हुई. तमाम क्रिकेट फैंस की इस इवेंट पर लंबे समय से नजर थी. कई दिग्गज प्लेयर पर इस नीलामी में बोली लगी. इस नीलामी में इंग्लैंड के सैम करन पर धन की वर्षा हुई. उन्हें  18.5 करोड़ में खरीदा गया. उनके अलावा कैमरून ग्रीन पर भी धन की बारिश हुई. उन्हें मुंबई की टीम ने 15.5 करोड़ में ख़रीदा.
