पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान की सिफारिश पर राष्ट्रपति आरिफ अल्वी ने विधानसभा भंग कर दिया है. इससे पहले नेशनल असेंबली (एनए) के डिप्टी स्पीकर कासिम सूरी ने प्रधानमंत्री के खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव को संविधान के अनुच्छेद 5 का विरोधाभास बताते हुए खारिज कर दिया. उधर, निचले सदन के विघटन को असंवैधानिक और अवैध बताते हुए विपक्षी सदस्य नेशनल असेंबली हॉल में अपना सत्र आयोजित कर रहे है. सदन में PTI असंतुष्टों सहित 190 से अधिक सदस्य मौजूद होने की जानकारी हैं.
