Paris Olympics 2024: इटली की प्रधानमंत्री जॉर्जिया मेलोनी(Giorgia Meloni) ने इटली की एंजेला कैरिनी(Angela Carini) के प्रतियोगिता से बाहर होने के बाद पेरिस ओलंपिक 2024 की आलोचना की है. एंजेला कैरिनी महिलाओं की 66 किलोग्राम मुक्केबाजी के राउंड ऑफ 16 मुकाबले में अल्जीरिया की इमान खलीफ से भिड़ रही थीं. मुक्केबाजी मैच शुरू होने के सिर्फ़ 46 सेकंड बाद एंजेला कैरिनी ने आगे खेलना जारी नहीं रखा. इटली की प्रधानमंत्री जॉर्जिया मेलोनी ने तब पेरिस 2024 ओलंपिक की आलोचना की, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा, "टेस्टोस्टेरोन के इन स्तरों के साथ यह एक समान प्रतियोगिता नहीं है. मर्दाना विशेषताओं वाले एथलीटों को महिला प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने की अनुमति नहीं दी जानी चाहिए." जॉर्जिया मेलोनी ने अपने सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट किया, जिसमें उन्होंने लिखा, "मुझे पता है कि तुम हार नहीं मानोगी, एंजेला, और मुझे पता है कि आखिरकार निष्पक्ष प्रतियोगिता में एक दिन तुम प्रयास और पसीने से वह हासिल करोगी जिसकी तुम हकदार हो."
