केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण (Nirmala Sitharaman) ने गुरु पद्मसंभव (Guru Padmasambhava) को अपनी प्रार्थना अर्पित की, जिनके नाम पर गुरुडोंगमार झील (Gurudongmar Lake) का नाम रखा गया है. गुरुडोंगमार का शाब्दिक अर्थ है लाल चेहरे वाला गुरु (Red Faced Guru) और गुरु ड्रैगमार (Guru Dragmar) के समान लगता है, जिसका अर्थ गुरु पद्मसंभव का लाल रंग का क्रोध रूप है. गुरुडोंगमार झील को दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची झीलों में से एक माना जाता है, जो समुद्र तल से 5,430 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है. निर्मला सीतारमण का वीडियो सामने आया है, जिसमें वो झील के सामने गुरु पद्मसंभव को अपनी प्रार्थना अर्पित करती दिख रही हैं.
