कोविड-19 वर्किंग ग्रुप की तरफ से सिफारिश की गई थी कि कोविशिल्ड की दो डोज के बीच का अंतर 6-8 सप्ताह से बढ़ाकर 12-16 हफ्ते कर दिया जाये. जिस सिफारिश को मोदी सरकार ने मान ली गई है. इससे पहले अभी तक कोविशील्ड टीके की दो खुराक के बीच का अंतर 6-8 हफ्ते का था.
