अमरावती: आंध्रप्रदेश के अनंतपुर जिले में गुरुवार को एक स्टील फैक्ट्री में कार्बन मोनो ऑक्साइड के रिसाव से 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई. शुरुवाती जानकारी के अनुसार 5 अन्य को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है.जिनका इलाज चल रहा है. पुरे मामले पर डीएसपी जी अशोक कुमार ने कहा है कि शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक, दो मजदूरों ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया। वहीं चार की अस्तपाल में मौत हो गई.
बताना चाहते है कि कॉर्बन मोनोऑक्साइड का प्रयोग ज्यादा गर्म करने के लिए होता है. इसी के लीक होने की वजह से यह घटना घटित हुई है. जानकारी के अनुसार स्टील प्लांट में मरम्मत के बाद टेस्टिंग के दौरान हादसा हुआ. यह फैक्ट्री ब्राजील की कंपनी गेरडाऊ की बतायी जा रही है, जो अमेरिकी उपमहाद्वीप में सबसे बड़ी स्टील उत्पादक है.
