नई दिल्ली: बॉलीवुड के महान फिल्म अभिनेता इरफान खान (Irrfan Khan) ने बुधवार यानि आज लंबी बीमारी के पश्चात् मुंबई (Mumbai) के कोकिलाबेन अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया. बताया जा रहा है कि इरफान खान की तबीयत कल अचानक खराब होने की वजह से उन्हें कोकिलाबेन अस्पताल के आईसीयू (ICU) में भर्ती कराया गया था. जहां 53 वर्षीय अभिनेता ने अपनी आखिरी सांस ली. इरफान न्यूरो इंडोकराइन ट्यूमर (Neuro Endocrine Tumor) से पीड़ित थे. जिसका वो लंदन से इलाज कराके लौटे थे. इरफान खान के दोस्त और डायरेक्टर शूजित सरकार ने उनके निधन पर शोक जाहिर करते हुए ट्वीट कर बताया कि वह अब दुनिया में नहीं रहे. इरफान खान के निधन के पश्चात् पूरी दुनिया में शोक की लहर फैल चुकी है, इसी कड़ी में भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के कई खिलाड़ियों ने भी ट्वीट कर शोक जताया है, जो इस प्रकार है-
टीम इंडिया के पूर्व महान बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर ने इरफान खान को याद करते हुए लिखा, 'इरफान खान के निधन के बारे में सुनकर बहुत दुख हुआ. वो मेरे पसंदीदा एक्टरों में से थे और मैंने उनकी लगभग सभी फिल्में देखी थीं.' सचिन ने इरफान के परिवार को सांत्वना दी है.

बता दें कि इरफान खान को फिल्मों में पहला ब्रेक मिला 'सलाम बॉम्बे' से मिला था. उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत एक छोटे से रोल से की थी. उसके बाद उन्होंने बड़े पर्दे पर कई छोटे रोल अदा किए. इसमें कसूर, गुनाह, फूटपाथ, बडा दिन जैसे फिल्मों में उन्होंने काम किया था. उन्होंने इंस्पेक्टर के रोल को भी बखूबी से निभाया था. द वारियर, हासिल, मकबूल जैसे फिल्मों में उन्होंने अभिनय का दम दिखाया. हासिल फिल्म के लिए उन्हें निगेटिव रोल के लिए फिल्मफेयर अवार्ड से नवाजा भी गया था.
इसके अलावा इरफान खान ने बॉलीवुड में भी अपना जलवा बिखेरा था. उन्होंने द अमेजिंग स्पाइडर मैन, स्लमडॉग मिलियनेयर, ए माइटी हार्ट जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया था. इतना ही नहीं इरफान खान को 2011 में पद्मश्री अवार्ड से भी नवाजा गया.
