श्रीलंका का सफाया करने के बाद भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम अब अपने अगले सीरीज में न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ 3 मैचों की एकदिवसीय श्रृंखला खेलने उतारेगी. सीरीज का पहला वनडे 18 जनवरी (बुधवार ) को राजीव गांधी इंटरनेशनल स्टेडियम, हैदराबाद में उतारेगी. भारतीय टीम पहले ही हैदराबाद पहुंच चुकी है. मैच से पहले भारतीय क्रिकेटरों ने मशहूर तेलुगू फिल्म अभिनेता जूनियर NTR से मुलाकात की है. जिसकी तस्वीर ट्विटर पर वायरल हो रही है.
