PV Sindhu Commonwealth Games 2022: बैडमिंटन सिंगल्स के फाइनल में शटलर पीवी सिंधु ने कनाडा की मिशेल ली को 21-15, 21-13 से को हराकर गोल्ड मेडल हासिल किया. दुनिया की नंबर-7 शटलर और दो बार की ओलिंपिक चैम्पियन पीवी सिंधु ने कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स के पिछले दो सीजन में 2014 में ब्रॉन्ज और 2018 सिल्वर मेडल जीता था. पहले गेम में मिशेल ने सिंधु को थोड़ी टक्कर दी थी, लेकिन दूसरे गेम में सिंधु ने उन्हें कोई मौका नहीं दिया. दूसरा गेम भारत की स्टार शटलर ने 21-13 से जीत लिया.
पदक तालिका में भारत अब चौथे स्थान पर आ गया है. भारत के खाते में अब तक 19 गोल्ड, 15 सिल्वर और 22 ब्रॉन्ज आ चुके हैं.
